How to implement THT process better?

The THT process importance:

As we all know, PTH is still a crucial section in PCBA,though SMT is spreading fast in small power aspect.But at the large power and high welding strength aspect(for example green energy and automotive industry),THT locates the main position.

DIP component lead bend and cutting:

There are many preliminary preparations for DIP component processing.The basic procedure involves processing electronic components first. Workers receive materials according to the Bill of Materials (BOM), check whether the material model and specifications are correct, and carry out pre-processing according to the PCBA sample. The steps involve using various related equipment (such as automatic capacitor lead cutting machines, resistor lead bending machines, automatic transistor lead forming machines, automatic sleeve shrinking machine,fully automatic loose component reeling machines).

THT tech points:

1.Before PTH process, it is necessary to check whether there are any dirts such as oil stains or paint on the surface of the electronic components.

2.During the PTH process, the electronic components are vertical and pressed on the PCB.

3. For the electronic component like diode with polars, it is necessary to insert it in the correct direction. Do not insert it randomly.

4.Careful with the inserting force. Avoid damaging the components or the PCB board.

5. Note the component height and distance.
